So rebuilding my grinder...
My old grinder has always been decent but has a lot of room for improvement.
The belt flaps and vibrates, its not flat on the platen (always seems to be slightly convex), also doesnt track well side to side.
Ive used top of the line grinders and its no comparison.
Im trying to get that smooth belt feel lol
So now im researching factors that effect grinder accuracy.
My grinder is solid (no flex) wheels seem good... So idk.
BUT I would like to discuss/hear some ideas about what factors effect accuracy in belt grinders.
Obviously things like balanced wheels and a sturdy frame...
What else?
