Moving on to something else partly because no oven or forge, I have had the parts for the heat treat oven for a while , I got motivated Fri at work it was slow so I went over to the body shop and borrowed a welder "I'm a ford Tech" rounded up all the steel I could and went to lowes for the rest the frame is done all I have to do is build the door any hints from you guy's that have built them? I'll post pics tommorow
Maybe in the next week or so I can treat the 15 or 20 I have started but didnt send out for heat treat?

There are pics of my oven in progress in an old thread here somewhere. There were pics and an explanation of how I built the door, which is working very well. I had it running at 1950F. on Fri evening, and though I would be embarassed to say how long it took to get there (didnt even want to know so I didn't pay attention), I was proud of my little 110V home-cooked oven for getting that hot.
