Looks interesting. Just curious if anyone has used it. I'm about ready to pull the trigger.

I have one and I like it a lot. Quick change holder, easy to separate to dip in water. Amazon has them for less $$$. Easy to dial in angles with magnetic angle finder. Well Made. I did put a piece of polypropylene on the base to ease is sliding. Of course YMMV.

Do a search on Amazon for item #B0BPM2QC87 and you'll see the same jig. Even better, do a search on "Bevel Jig for Knife Grinding" - it's amazing how many different jigs show up.

I've used very similar jigs over the years and they do work, better than my free hand grinding was back then. Over the last 10 yrs I've finally developed the skill to do a decent job of freehand grinding, now my jigs mostly hang on the wall. Since I've never made more than a dozen or so knives per yr, my grinding skills were slow to develop.

Works great for small blades. Longer blades you have to be very careful applying pressure as the blade will flex. Nothing behind it for support

You're right Jim. The one I built was a bit longer with supports for the blade at each end. Without that support anything thinner than a thick blade would surely flex too much, and I do think it would be hard to provide manual support that would hold stable.
