Another small batch

Made a start on another smal batch of blades today getting them all prepped and ready to start grinding in the bevels.
I ran out oflayout dye so had to make do till I get some more that is on order in the city.

No, they are done with a cut off disc on an angle grinder. My wood bandsaw runs way too fast for steel.

If you can get your hands on a portable metal bandsaw, you might like it . When I first started I cut out all my knives on an angle grinder. I got one of those cheapies from harbor freight tools and was surprised just how well it worked (I've probably cut 40 or more blades out with it) and would not ever go back to the angler grinder unless there was an absolute need. My wife upgraded by portable metal band saw to a DeWalt with a swage after market tool rest. I wonder where she got the idea to give me that

Those have been profiled on the grinder OP. It would be great if I could get them that neat with the ange grinder but that is not to be. Might look into a metal bandsaw at some stage.
