Just finished this one for my good friend.This dagger was beautiful.I inlayed the sheath with lizard and a black Tiger-eye stone.Dave:)

Great work Dave,you the man.
I read somewhere that Harry Mendenhall was related to you.
I knew Harry quite well and have a coupls of his knives and also some of his scrimshaw. He use to engrave a lot of knives for me. He also taught my son whow to scrim,my son also learned a lot from Bob Engnath.
Harry was a great loss to BAKCA as well as the knifemaking community.

Thanks my friends.Dave, Harry was a distant cousin and unfortunately never met.I found out about him through an aunt, just after I started making knives.Through mail and phone he was very helpful in getting me on my way, and would critique my work for me.He was a great artist, and after his passing,I met and talked with Bob Egnath at the Guild show about him.Sad that we lost those two awesome makers.Dave
