One day my wife says " hey, got an idea for all those knives you're making"... and she bought a glass storage bin and some beans. A simple idea that seems to work well.
How do you'all store your knives?
Seems like a weird thing to do with black beans. Better cooked in pork stock with chopped onions, carrots, and celery with sliced spicy sausage. Just me though. I'd probably use white beans.
I have two knife blocks on the counter. I also have a magnetic strip on the wall behind them that I'm not allowed to use because my wife is sure that knives left out in the open will jump off the wall and cut someone's fingers off... (says the woman who STILL puts knives in the sink on occasion!)
