This is my #4 knife for my ABS JS examination. 5160 blade, and cocobolo wood handle. Only one more to go and I can start making regular knives again. It's been ages since I've made any Damascus. Withdrawals is all I can say.....
Clean, very nice work. I am a devout neophyte. Is there an ABS reason that I am unaware of, for the sharp 90 degree angle where the ricasso drops to meet the working edge of the blade? To my novice eye, the sharp angle looks like a stress riser.
