So, I bought this leather braided cord...a few colors from different MFGs. One of 'em was called PU leather cord...
Turns out it is polyurethane...AND seems stronger than the real McCoy....
I've been playing with using it for a laced sheath.
Better, worse, what am i missing? I prefer the real stuff just because....but in the interest of which makes the better sheath? It looks and feels just like leather....but not as "stretchy".
I'm blaming this project on Dennis Moreland...I saw his laced sheath and fell in love...my wife saw the sample I made and fell in love...now I have to make her a real one...lol.(gotta love a woman that will carry a fixed blade knife!)
