Thanks very much. That darned thing was driving me nuts. I knew the maker when I bought it....and my memory is so very good I didn't need to make a note. (That snickering noise is just my wife- pay no mind to it.) I'm sure I'll remember this time . Jim

Additional about your case This may help some. Case reissued this set of WW2 knives as a Pearl Harbor comm. in 2001. Your knife is the same as the set. Case did market this knife to all the services and called it something different each time....same knife ... different BS. Hope this...
