100%...i use the term wax paper and parchment paper interchangeable and my wife corrects me :) I believe i am currently using parchment paper she bought at the grocery store (cheaper than wax paper). Works fine!

I'm looking for one that floods the catch pan with acetone :) Seriously, clean up of epoxy is one of my loathing tasks. Pro-tip: Wax paper...cheap and the dried epoxy doesn't stick....maybe line that little press with some.

I think it all goes back to labor being cheap and quality materials being expensive. Unfortunately, a quick buck is the only goal. It's not that they can't do better .... it's just that "doing better" and "making money quickly" don't seem to be tied together in this case. Highly skilled scam...
