    Questions on soldering/brazing rig

I would pass on the solder but if you must, try a large soldering iron in a vise and cut a slot in the tip. Hang the knife in the slot and solder away. Bob Loveless did that in his video. Steve Johnson used a heat gun.

Heaven waited until Gene was ready. Gene Osborn passed away at 9:15pm 11-09-2011 RIP

Gene Osborn of Center Cross Metal Works was just 51 years old when he went "HOME" as he wanted. Gene's wife Mellenie called me today and told me that Gene had taken a turn for the worst and that I needed to come and see him. I left right away and went to see Gene. Gene was unresponsive when I...

To the great people of this forum.

It is funny that things are turning around, I don't know how to act. I start on the 10th. The plastic block project is taking off also. Mother earth news released a story on it this morning and I talked with a TV producer today who may want to do some filming soon. Hopefully this can take off...

The addition of heat is a great idea. It relaxes the memory in the plastic and makes it easier to compress. However, there is a place making what they call the biofusion block. It uses steam for that purpose but there is a large cost involved to make heat and steam and we want this to be able to...

To the great people of this forum.

I would like to thank the people of this forum for their long term support I have been lucky enough to receive. You guys have given me a lot of help recently and I know you have been expecting to see knives out for me already but I have been working on two potential income opportunities that...

They weigh somewhere between 7-10 pounds. We ill recommend 10 for the lower courses and 7 or more for the upper courses based on the tests the engineering place come up with. Since these are plastic they have to be enclosed. Most people in third world countries are experts at making plaster...

Thinking out of the box WAY OUT

We have made some progress on the blocks. We did a redesign of the machine to improve it. It works great and have made more blocks. We tested the latest block by putting Harvey's C5500 welding truck on it like we did my truck. It felt the weight and distorted a bit but returned to its shape...

    100x100

My first thought was, that will be a heck of a shop. I once had to swim two miles and tread water for an hour in between them for a test in the military. Kicked my butt and I was in a little different shape back then (I am in shape now, round is a shape).
