    All good info, thanks guys. I have tried stabilized wood. Starting to think I'm getting it too hot while shaping. Have an inexpensive belt sander from Harbor Freight. Try to get basic shop with 50 grit then 80. Saw a good video on loveless bolts....you guys prefer those over corby?
