    Sharp beak knife

    Here is my latest file knife. Just under 9" in lenth with bone scales and stainless bolts and nickel silver tube. I tried to do some jigging and dyed the scales, but didn't prepare the bone ahead of time so the dye didn't penetrate too deep. Blade is flat ground and finished with a convex edge.

    First Neck Knives

    Here are two little neck knives I made out of old files. The knife with the osage orange scales with micarta pins. The other one has rosewood scales with nickel silver pins and tube. The one on the right is hollow ground which was a first for me.

    Harbor Freight Surface Grinder??

    What should I expect if I buy a benchtop surface grinder from Harbor Freight? Anybody have one? It is around 300 bucks (was 900), another hundred for a magnetic chuck.

    Hello from Indiana
