It's easier to see the gap in the 2nd picture. It's not much but it makes an audible click when it slides and makes metal on metal contact.

It slides perpendicular to the blade and leaves a slight gap. I can't figure out anyway to tighten it so I figured I would just apply some JB Weld to it and hope for the best. Ya'll got any other suggestions?
