Yup, if my family hears a piece of equipment going.......stay away. Other than that, superglue, duct tape,....butterfly's for the really bad ones. Good gloves when forging, proper eye protection is a must. Side note: I HAD a centerfold pin-up in my shop where I used to hang my glasses...

The trailing point is Black lip MOP, wharncliff is mammoth ivory, clip point is inner mammoth ivory. Waiting for the weather to break to forge more damascus, I've about run out of folder stock.
