I got the guard profiled today and also the slot for the strong back. Sorry this is so slow but I have been working some overtime at the plant. Did I ever tell you how much I love 70's Randall Knives? Thanks for looking!

I had some time today. I drilled the ironwood to accept the pins in the guard. This side of the ironwood will be chopped off to show some nice colorful grain. I still need to take it to my "paying" job and cut the slot for the strongback tang, (at lunch time). course!

This is where the hobbyist has the upper hand. I make lots of knives, but I make em my way for me. I don't take orders, except from family. And if people want to buy my knives they can, if not they don't have to. I will keep em. They are my artistic release......

One of my customers told me He and some of his friends on crotch rockets were out for a ride this weekend. He said " My knife stayed in the sheath at 160 mph!" I must make some fast knives! LOL!
