This is the second one of these I have done. I had two guys, on the same day order one of these for Xmas and neither one had ever seen one before. This blade is of 1/8" CPMD2, 41/8" long and OAL is 83/8". Scales are Dyed Stabilized Camel Bone with Mosiac pins. This is a little better picture...

I polished the scales with Jackson white 51, 1200-1400 grit compound on a loose buff.

Finished this one today for a customer. 33/8" blade of CPM154, OAL 75/8". Sambar Stag scales. 416 SS pins. http://waltscustomknives.blademakers.com

Has anyone talked to, or heard anymore on Crucible? Wondering if any decision has been made on the CPM metals.

All my blades are flat ground. I do not do hollow grinds.
