Got these finished up for Current Composites! Blue AmeraGrip and Pink AmeraGrip! Fillet knife is AEB-L, small blue handled one is also AEB-L and the pink handle one is S35VN.

Made myself a 3.5" O-1 paring knife. Handles are from a rosewood xolor laminated wood from Current Composites that is a few decades old. They made laminates like Dymondwood for gun grips and had some left overs. Full flat grind from 3/32" stock and a distal taper. Super slicey!

There are tons of places selling aftermarket scales and other parts for Benchmades. You should be able to find a YouTube video of how to take apart and re assemble the knife pretty easily! I am considering doing the same to my bugout when I find it.

I use a Cricut and cut my simple stencil out. I only use it once, but I can change the size if needed, too, or do custom stuff on the knife. I rarely have an issue with bleed out around the stencil since I use adhesive vinyl.

DLC and PVD are pretty durable coatings and resist scratches well because they are so hard. Those coatings don't seem to wear off as easily. I have a few Benchmades with those coatings and they hold up well, even with heavy use. CeraCoat and Powder Coat are less durable. CeraCoat is supposed...
