    Knife Identification

I was really hoping I wouldn't have to post this but I have spent hours online trying to find the maker/specs on this knife with no luck... I received the knife in a knife swap on another forum and the one who sent it to me also knew nothing about the knife. The only markings on the knife are...

    critique

I am probably not one to comment due to severe lack of experience but there is only one thing that throws me off and that is the grind breaking the spine. I love the look of a nice full grind but when it breaks the spine I personally think it looks weird. That being said (and I really hope...

    Mosaic wood inlay help

Hey Kelly, I don't think you really want to soak it in anything, but if you need to bend it I think you need to warm it... I really don't know much about it but watched Phillip Patton did a guitar WIP on bladeforums (in the around the grinder forum, didn't see it there anymore though) and it...

    MT Amphibian Sheath

I think it looks really good! I like the way you have the belt loop integrated and the little circles add a nice touch/aesthetics. Curious as to what the change in sewing technique you used?

    Leather Experts, Here!

Same here, tried latigo from Tandy since I could get large scraps. It doesn't form for crap and relaxes on its own over time so it makes a very loose sheath. However, I did make a Mexican style sheath with it that uses a mechanical lock rather than formed for retention and it works very well...

    Heat Treat Question

I am trying to finish mine up and also allowed room for a layer of inswool around the entire oven. Just have the door left to go. I got my inswool from harbison walker (where I got my bricks for $2.65 each if I bought a full case) for free - they had a bunch of samples that he said I could...

I just purchased one from tru-grit (like $15) because I was scared of one blowing up in my face... Not sure how they join the ends but I'll take a look at it once it gets here...

I Have a 40+ lbs Box of G-11 to Give Away, interested?

Hey Jim, I'm trying to decide if I should use the G11 on knives or for bullet-proof armor! Good crap this stuff is tough! I was hoping I could cut it in half without a bandsaw but that's not gonna happen - but once I get somebody to cut it up for me, on steel it will go! Thanks again Jim!
