I just cut slabs, and grind or mill the rest. 60, or 80 grit Blaze belts make short work of this stuff.

Wet tile saws are THE ticket for G10, CF, and Micarta. I use them (laminates) almost exclusively.

Good luck Frank. I have tried half a dozen that are recommended for Ti, and all I ever get is a crappy mark. There are electrolytes that will mark, but I haven't found one that does it well.

Bass Ackwards. DC Etches, AC Blackens... Did you tape off the spare wire on the transformer, or ground it like the Crawford instructions state? Do NOT ground it, tape it off. Are you running 12v or 24v? 12v is better than 24v, 16v is better than both, but requires a doorbell transformer...

Funny that I see this now. I spent an hour today designing just such a thing for a few of my lesser used tools. Disk grinder, buffer, carbide grinder, etc...

I have a Hardcore too. It is the smoothest grinder I have. Rubber helps on the KMG though. The only thing I have seen that compares on smoothness is Travis' TW-90 Super Smooth.
