    More photobucket problems

For some reason pictures from my camera will not upload on photobucket. They'll get to 94% and then just stop. If I take a pic with phone everything works fine, though. Has anyone else experienced this, or maybe know what the issue is? I've tried Picsaweb too, but I can't figure out how to...

Yeah, photobucket is being a pain so I'm trying Picsaweb but I haven't figured out how to direct link from there yet. I'm still tinkering with it so hopefully I'll have a decent pic soon.

It probably is a tad big, Don but I think the angle makes it look a lot worse than it is. Finally got everything finished up on it. Once again, all criticisms and critiques are welcomed and appreciated.

Longshot: Looking for a lefty recurve

I'm looking for something in the 40-45lb. range. I'd prefer a longer recurve, but as long as it has at least a medium grip I'm not too particular. I can offer this knife up for trade out of my collection. It's made by James Peterman, 13" OAL with a 9" blade of 1095 steel.

Dang Wade, you pulled that steel a long ways. Nice job on both of them, I can see why they move quickly for you.

Thanks guys. I spent some time yesterday cleaning things up. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take the scales down completely under the chip out and still have enough meat left for a comfortable handle. Going to just finish it up and chalk it up as a learning experience.

    forged integral

I like this one a lot. The carvings are just enough to really tie everything together and not overpower the piece.

Not at all, Eric. I really appreciate the critiques, that's what makes me better in the end.

This one is made out of 1084 steel, edge quenched. It's 9.25" OAL, with 4.5" of sharp. The scales are walnut, with copper pins. I'd love any critiques or criticisms before I finish it out.

    Direct Drive a Treadmill Motor

I'm getting ready to start working on my NWG and have a motor question. We've got a treadmill taking up space in our bedroom and I'd like to rob the motor out of it for the time being. I'd like to set it up as a direct drive with the hopes of being able to upgrade my shop to 220v and getting a...

    A new non-knife type AXE

That is beyond cool. I really wish I could play, but unfortunately I can't carry a tune in a bucket. I've always had a thing for guitars though.
