    OK! blades are back from HT and as we all might agree, hand rubbing is a PITA! cutting the 6mm TI bolsters, the band saw did a good job. thanks for looking. Lee Lerman

    oh sorry i forgot to explain, it's sterling silver, i could have just made it out of a silver bar, but it's more work andand there is much more waste of matirial, also it was a good opportunity to try working with wax.

    Hello sorry for the delay, i received the bolster back yesterday and after some cleaning and milling i'm pleased with the fitting. i'm putting this project on hold for a week to finish a batch of blades to sand to HT, i'll continue working on it after i sand them. Lee Lerman

    Hello, i'm sorry it took me some time to update but as expected making five blades at once takes more time, i filed a false edge on all the blades and hand rubbed to 220, i have one last blade to finish and then they will be ready for HT. thanks for looking, Lee Lerman.
