Thanks for the explanation on the accordian cut and ferry flip. I have wondered about the streangth of the ferry flip also. I guess as long as it is a good weld it should be pretty durable. I am not very smart when it comes to this kind of equipment, but I have been looking for the same stuff. Stainlessteel for choopers

http://www.mcmaster.com/#grade-a2-steel-bars/=5xr6jj I would try some A-2. I know it is not a true stainless, but is more than others & is a very tough steel. Mcmasters is cheap and has a huge selection in different sizes.

Hey Thanx Guys! Ed & Les Those are just what I was looking for! What are the highest voltages used for anodizing? I noticed the one that Ed posted goes up around 120vdc and the one Les posted only goes to 30vdc. I was thinking you needed higher voltages, up around 70-100 vdc, to reach some of...

Growing up my father was a butcher & this is the only type of stone he would use. We always used WD-40 for the oil. I have always used WD-40 also and it seems to work great for me. Ed Fowler also told me he used kerosene on is india stones. Hope this helps.
