I make the knife...my friend makes my sheaths. He has his own finishing/oiling protocol that seem to last. I've seen some of my knives that have been sheathed by him a couple years after hard use and they look pretty good....don't know about blood though! In fairness to the fellow that cut...

I posted some clips I've been working on the other day. This is a sheath system utilizing one on the clips. This is a prototype....so the leather got cut undersize and some lines do not match (but will...lol) I have a very good sheath maker who charges accordingly. I also owe some free knives...

Great article! I've heard a number of makers on different forums remarking on how underappreciated AEB-L is as a harder-use knife steel. Reading this article makes me think that is correct.... Thanks Tracy.

Whoa! A+ on everything!

A new customer took delivery last week of one of the sharpfingers I'm currently making. He was showing off his new knife to some guys at work and the local "expert" decided the sheath was crap...after some minutes of trashing the sheath...he decided the knife was "okay" and then rammed the knife...

new batch done...Changed the design a bit for nicer sheath fit...looks better, feels better, fits better...
