If you use air hardening blade material and make the exact same blade you can run as many as you wish. I use A-2 and leave extra material down near the tip for a bolt hole. Then I take the blades and bolt through that tab and the two pin holes. Separate with steel washers for cooling...wrap in...

you can mill them in if you have a milling machine. You will have to scrub it with dowel/sandpaper to remove the line at the bottom of the fuller. ground in looks better with less work...machined in get you more choices on size....but a bit more hand work.

absolutely. I have a friend that is a pretty good maker...almost all his handles do not fit in six months....he does lots of spacers and dis-similar materials....very catchy looking...but....time always strikes back...lol. He sells about 10 to my one...lol..

I do a lot of my work CNC also....I have a disc grinder that I have not wired up yet. I only want it for prepping scales for the cnc. Perhaps i will use it for touching up blade flats afer heat treating. I've had it for 6 years lol...since I got ill i have had to move more work to the cnc...so...
