That's not your usual style. But I like it.

I have several Benchmade knives. While I've never swapped out scales myself it looks quite straight forward. If you do decide to do it yourself, you will need a Torx head screwdriver. And as Taz mentioned there are a plethora of YouTube videos on how to do so.

I've parkerized gun parts before without sand blasting them. I then put DuraCoat over the top. So far I haven't had any problems. I know sand blasting is recommended. But if you clean the knife completely I don't think you would have a problem getting the parker coating to adhere. However a...

USAKnifemaker has some elements for Paragon Ovens. However I don't know if that is the one you need. You might want to call Paragon direct to make sure you get the right element

As Edward says drilling the pins out will be tricky, but I think black pins for contrast will look much better. Let us know how it goes

After many months of no shop time I made it out today and did some work on this Bocote chef knife that's been sitting on the bench. Hopefully I will have more shop time going forward.
