Frame Lock WIP! Haha, yeah it's folder time at RohdeEdge!

I have 2-56 and 0-80 counter bores that I bought from Enco or McMaster Carr. You will have to turn the heads of button head screws down a little because the heads are not concentric with the threads.

    different razor

Yes,I mean cut whiskers off you face  I see a lot of beautifully made straight razors and I can't help but wonder how well they work. I've never shaved myself with one but have been shaved quite a few times by a barber that knew what he was doing, way back when I was in the Army.

How do you make your "Flats" ??

Ed,Frank, do y'all use grease to lube your disk while grinding? I do and it realy helps keep the blade cool. I use it for all grits above 400.

    Milling machine for folders?

I built a dedicated horizontal belt grinder,it has three different wheels and a flat platen that I can grind on without changing anything. I do the final profiling of all my parts, liners, scales blade tangs and springs. It's much easyer to grind to a scribed line when I can rest the part flat on...

    Milling machine for folders?

What kind of folders are you going to be making? I use my milling machine a lot when I'm making lock backs, for slipjoints I only use it for grinding the nail nick,I don't use it at all for making liner locks. I would not want to make folders without my surface grinder and horizontal belt grinder.

Slip Joint Folder WIP- First time for me, Help needed

3/32" blade and spring is typical, 3/32" pins also , if you have scale pins use 1/16". Can you close the knife to the 1/2 stop position on your computer screen? If so, do so and see if the tip of the spring spans the width of the tang and a little more. If not, it should or it will be lazy in...

    Antonin Scalia

God assumed from the beginning that the wise of the world would view Christians as fools…and He has not been disappointed. Devout Christians are destined to be regarded as fools in modern society. We are fools for Christ’s sake. We must pray for courage to endure the scorn of the sophisticated...
