    Thanks Brad, Yes these are very lightweight, 1.06 ounce,these are lighter than the last ones because I didn't put a shield in them. But don't mistake lightweight for weak,flimsy or delicate,the carbon fiber is unbelievably strong.

    I don't get much Knifemaking done during turkey season but I did manage to finish these two this morning. 2 1/2" blades,3 1/2" long closed,weight 1.06oz. Sandvik 14C28N stainless blades and springs,carbon fiber frames.

    Help with etching

    Your plate should be hooked to your positive jack and your pad to your negative jack. For a DC etch you want the current to flow from the blade to the pad. You have your pad hooked to the proper place but obviously your plate is hooked to them wrong place. I don't know which jack it should be...
