    Tips/Tricks for Fitting Inlays?

I cut the pieces about 1/8 longer than they need to be. Since you have a mill you can gang mill a stack of pieces to all be the same width, in this case 3/16. Then I carefully radius one end to match one of the pocket. Then start the radius on the other end on the grinder and then file by hand...

    ladder birdseye billet

If I can add some advise, next time use a ball endmill. The square edges that you have milled in can cause stress in the billet. You should also round the top edges of each of the channels you milled. You will like the difference between milled and pressed ladder patterns.

I bought some Marbled carbon fiber from Black site CF and wanted to try it out. This is very cool stuff. This knife has a 2-1/8 in blade made of 154CM. The opening method is a milled groove. It provides good purchase to open the knife but the advantage of nothing protruding to catch on your...

Anything I shod know befor building a internal frame lock.

.250 440C is going to be a thick blade. That's a lot of grinding! Most guys use titanium for liners. The strength to weight ratio is above all others and does not require heat treating. You are going to have to heat treat your lock side and then spring temper it. Good luck, check out the...

    Black lip peanut

Nice work on the peanut, too bad the pearl chipped. I read in the Clay/Lake/ Centofante how to build folders book that Frank Centofante never peened the center spring pin on pearl knives. He just super glued it in place. The glue and the tension from the spring would keep it from ever falling out.
