Have 2 new additions in the shop this weekend- and got to use both! Wen 12 inch Variable drill Press and Tapmatic 30 x! Both proved to be great choices so far and HUGE time savers in drilling and tapping 500+ holes for Bevel Jigs! Should have done this years ago.

I recently started using Norax 600 grit - vs a Trizact. Think the finish is more even and smooth. I rarely even go to this grit on a bevel- normally go to 400 then a Scotch Brite or cork- I like the slight appearance of the grind lines. The 600 Norax for me gets used at the end for the spine...

Theses pics are all deep hollow grinds- done on an 8 inch wheel. I have since gotten a 10 inch- I find hollows easier than using the platen. Can also manipulate the way you hold the blade to the wheel when you get comfortable so that you can extend the grind height.

I have used the original formula JB Weld as well as the UHB Tape- both worked as desired. My current glass has the JB- has been solid for the last 6 months of use.

This ORO model getting shipped out this morning to the new owner in Australia! First time for that.
