    Kitchen Knives

Ed loves D2 for blades as we can tell. Lol I can vouch for the edge being jagged and stays for a long time from playing make KSO out of D2 planer blades. As far as 52100 goes I have yet to finish the blades I have in the works.

You also can use the old shoes to make novelty knives and letter openers. Any one who says "Old horse shoes that were in the muddy poopy pasture are gross" remind them that most germs/bacteria die at 160° and a knife is taken to 1400 + ° to harden. If a germ/bacteria survives that then we all...

    Stacked Leather Hunter

So working with stacked leather is similar to burnishing leather, go the opposite direction of the belts travel? I did one rehandle on an old Camillus bird an trout with a stacked leather handle and managed to match it up to the original profile but the cutting of the center hole was tedious...

    Stacked Leather Hunter

That is a beauty of a blade. The brass and stainless give a nice color transition to the blade from the handle. I may have to make one similar color scheme to clean up my leather scrap bin. I'm with Mr Wilson, any suggestions?

    Looking to Identify Knifemaker

Is kind of hard to see much other than it is a damascus knife blade, bolsters with some file work all the way along the spine. The obvious seperations of a production knife of the steel and stainless pins that are mismatched to the area of the bolster they are in. The line for the brass and...

Here is the finished retro replacement of a knife my buddies dad had stolen in may this year when his house was broken into. Was given the colors of the spacers, the handle material, rough dimensions, and guard shape to try to replicate it and make it look like a 19 yo made it so there was...
