    2x72 grinder question

Meh ... it could be growing pains or other legitimate reasons. I had a buddy that owned a car audio shop and got screwed by his partner...wound up changing the name and structure of his business because of legal issues. Had nothing to do with the biz or him personally .... stuff just happens...

Had to get back to my real job this week so not a lot of progress. One side almost finished sanding to 320. What’s the general best practice as far as what grit before heat treat? I found it easier to cut it this way ... it’s 1bolt to take it off the stand and two screws (one for now) for the table ... If I changed the blade like sanding belts it might make sense

    Shop safety, more than basics

I had a picture but can’t find it ... but one cold morning I was ripping wood for some newel posts I was making. I know better than to wear gloves around spinny things but ... did I mention it was cold? Anyhoo .. as luck would have it, my saw grabbed my glove and sucked my finger into the blade...

Thanks! I was thinking more of a “mirror” polish on the bevel and something like 600 grit for the ricasso and whatever that little taper above the bevel is called. Might not be worth trying to 2 different finishes. I’ll probably just do as polished as I can get it

Holes drilled and got the file marks sanded out with 150 grit. Trying to decide on the final finish. Polish the bevel and leave the rest satin or polish it all.... thoughts?
