    I'd be horrified if you didn't tell me about your torrified wood. I've read about it but I don't recall hearing of it being used for knife handles.

    This was a great step by step tutorial Buhl and that grinder looks great. If I built that and it came out looking like that I'd be half tempted to go all out and send the whole thing out to get chrome plated. :D

    If I can be melted into a puddle from standing under a tree during a rain storm, I’ll pass on anything from that tree. But if I happen to come across a few of the apples it produces I’ll box them up and send them to my pal Bruce. :D

    Ouch! You might see if you can go a little larger on the holes with a # drill bit or sand your pins a little. I’m hind sight though, if those pins were that tight that scale may have cracked at sometime in the future just from humidity changes.

    As Tony the tiger would say.....Theeeerrre GREAT! Small ones anyway!, I would say any wild hog under #170 or so are great eating. there's lots of ways to cook them to change things up if needed.
