    Latest pocketknife

I've posted pictures of guns with the serial number showing many times, the black helicopters never showed up.

    New machine...

Thanks CD, I don't plan on doing any outside work in the near future but I do plan on getting proficient with this machine and start making holsters and maybe some belts.

    New machine...

After hand stitching leather for over 30 years and occasionally considering buying a machine, I finally did. my last Bowie sheath took what seemed like forever to hand stitch and left a couple fingers kind of sore, that sheath sealed the deal and the search was on for a sewing machine. I had...

    The fourth

Happy 4th to everyone, you too Bruce. it was 100 degrees at my place today but I did some target shooting with my new flintlock today so that was fun, not much in the way of fireworks out where I'm at.

Yea, but it's a different kind of heat

A shame? I guess you could see it that way but that rifle meant a lot more to me than a plastic toy from the dime store, if I caught the guy that stole that in the act I would have put a bullet right between his eyes

Yea, but it's a different kind of heat

I remember Larry had a run in with Harley Davidson, they didn't like the looks of his logo so he had to change it up a little.

Yea, but it's a different kind of heat

I had a knockoff of one of those scopes I was going to mount on a .58 Zoauve rifle but the rifle got stolen.

I was by myself too, I went over and looked at that thing and I was like...oh oh, it's fixing to get dark soon I quick and went and got my atv, wrapped a chain around his legs and dragged him out. he was a big un!

Yea, but it's a different kind of heat

I have a video from my tree stand killing that one and it's great. I have to see if there's some way to get it on youtube and put a link.

Yea, but it's a different kind of heat

Here's another one, this one was #190. I shot him at about 70 yards with a .50 muzzleloader. I know the scope doesn't belong there but this muzzleloader has an after market Green Mountain long range hunter barrel on it and some of my shots are father that I can use open sights so I tapped the...

Yea, but it's a different kind of heat

Good eye! it's a Savage model 110 in 7mm WSM. I actually won that rifle in a raffle at a Safari Club fundraiser. it's a powerful round for sure, and very accurate. although I shot that hog from a treestand at about 15 yards.

Yea, but it's a different kind of heat

Here was my best hog, the scale said #275 but I think he was bigger than that.

Yea, but it's a different kind of heat

Yea I know where Aucilla is, I use to hunt around Steinhatchee too, A friend had hunting property in Otter Creek and we use to hunt hogs year round. one time we had five at the cleaning station skinning them out and you could see the corn feeder from there, there were more there feeding, my...

Gotcha, I know nothing about operating a CNC, much less building one!

    New 110 VAC VFD source

That’s kind of like going to a Chinese restaurant and ordering a filet mignon, a bowl of tomato soup and a Hershey bar, while their all good by themselves, together it’s kind of odd.:D

Yea, but it's a different kind of heat

It's going to be a long hot summer, and it's not even July yet. even the wasp's that are usually flying around seem to be gone except a few I've seen hitting the ground in my shop, passing out I presume, only to be squashed.
  19. bladegrinder

Yea, but it's a different kind of heat

Man, it's been friggin HOT lately...for the last five days my shop was 100, today it hit 102 and the feels like temp was 109. I cut up some downed trees on my property and did some tractor work for about three hours in the morning, then spent the rest of the day in the shop. it's actually not...

    Shed antler

Renaissance wax would be good but it’s pricey if you don’t already have some, or just a good paste wax. Any pith would have to be sealed with epoxy or some kind of super glue. It’s kind of hard to make a good recommendation without a picture to see what your dealing with, it may be a nice shed...
