Yes. You can warm the epoxy before adding the hardener (on cold days) so it flows freely and it will flow into all the notches in the tang for full contact hold.

Blue is the pick of the liner material for the IW. There is enough contrast to say class without the harsh contrast that often overplays the gameand takes away rather than adds (imnsho)

I notch the tang and dont use a pin on the smaller ones OP.

I have watched a number of videos on cable damascus and i do like the resulting patterns. Unfortunately my hands and shoulders will not let me use hammers enough to do them myself.

What is the Fordon hand tool. Not one I know of but whatever it is it has helped in the making of a very nice piece of working art.

A day of leather work today to make the necessary sheaths for the knives I have finished and those still on the bench waiting for the handle shaping but should get them done later in the week. Just have ssome stitching to run round and the hot waxing to do on them now.

As I said it is just my opinion and we make knives to suit our needs and preferences. Maybe the first pics eccentuated the visual effect
