Christmas gift from Jess Hoffman

I received my gift from Jess yesterday.



In the package was a block of curly ash, a dyed block of curly maple, both stabilized by K&G, a set of gray G-10 liners, a sheet of rubber printer's mat and a set of stabilized elk hide scales. Last was a couple cool stickers.

After it was mentioned in another thread, I was planning to get some of the rubber padding for my disc grinder. Now I have it!

I'm super excited to use the stabilized elk hide! It looks really cool! I'm thinking I'll use it with some elk antler somehow.

How cool is that?! I didn't know you could stabilize elk hide. It makes sense, just never heard of doing that.
