Nice bowie Bruce, but I liked it better with th colors kind of a waste to polish them off. I thought they would have looked great with the stag, that's just my opinon. I think I would have shaped the handle before I colored it, beautiful knife though and came out great.

Here is the first of the year for me, It is 4 bar basketweave mosaic of 1084 15n20 twisted tightly the cut into thirds and made into a 3 bar composite all twisted the same way, the handle is juniper burl with copper fittings and pin the sheath is cow rawhide I made myself studded with copper...

Here is the lastest bowie I made it is forged fully hardened W2 It has a elk handle of a shed I picked up and the fittings are nickel silver and steel.

I use the 3m featering disc adhesive in the tube and like it also as you can pull it off put it aside change grits and come back to it later till its used up and it peels off easily. and I couldn't get the spray anymore. I really like this stuff and it would be a shame if they quite making it!
