Hi, I've been a knifemaker for about 30 years here in Hawaii. I was initially taught how to make knives by Tom Mayo and was also helped by Vince Evans, who taught me how to flat grind and temper knives, as well as Ken Onion, who showed me how to greatly improve the ergonomics of my handles.
