    Resp-O-Rator R.I.P.

I wasn't much older, at 22. She was 20. They say married that young doesn't last. Ha! We've been like two adjacent fingers on the same hand close the whole time, inseparable as Life allows. Anyways, I didn't have much of a mustache then, either, but I was determined that whatever hair would...

    Resp-O-Rator R.I.P.

I've got one of those respirators floating around some drawer in my shop, Bob. If you want it for parts, I'd be happy to send it to you. A little water rinse to knock the dust off and a short soak in dilute bleach and you'd have like-new spare parts. Besides, what I have isn't infectious. LOL...

    Stencils

I toss my stencils in a very light sonicator-soap solution in a cheapo sonic jewelry cleaner. Clean with the little brush that came with it (looks like a tiny toothbrush for jewelry) or rinse under water with light thumb/finger pressure. Keeps them clean and the mark sharp.

    Stencils

Sorry, my bad! I thought you were using one to mark leather, but am obviously confused.

@Gliden07 You have a CNC laser, don't you? Some folks use laser to cut vinyl stencils to effectively mark blades. That's about all I know about it, but it can be done.

The lady who answers the phone at IMG-Electromark is extremely helpful and knowledgable. They can do what you want. It is not cheap, and there is an artwork charge the first time so they can format your art to their system. TUSTech in the Boston area is another friendly company. I did a study...

    Whats going on?

Thank you! I have embraced that closely for many years, now. And, yes, it provides perspective like little else can. I've been chronically ill for a long time. It would have been easy when I first got sick to feel sorry for myself because it trashed everything, but not with that mantra above...

Here is Practical Explanation about Next Life, Purpose of Human Life, philosophical/religious facts, theories etc.

Sorta disjointed, there, mbuste. Not too many Hindus around these parts, though you might find a few.

    Whats going on?

That’s good advice about a support group. Thank you! I will look into it. Matter of fact, I can ask the new oncologist about it on Wednesday. Thanks, again, Sean!

    Whats going on?

Thanks, Sean. I am trying my best to take it one day at a time. And, as a matter of fact, I feel a bit better than yesterday. I hope you do, too!

    Whats going on?

Thanks, Ken. It is apparently a relentless cancer but can be slow if it is kept up with. The concern is when it metastasizes eventually, and it will. Ironically, the AFib saved me, in a way. They put me on a blood thinner (Plavix) and I slowly started noticing blood passing. And then a lot. That...

    Whats going on?

Three years ago, I thought I'd be making knives again, rejoined forums, and re-built my shop. i was the most excited I'd been in years. So much for plans. Next came cardiac A-Fib (the uncorrectable type) and it stopped me in my tracks with fatigue that hasn't changed. (Got a metal thingy...

Anybody know what this is? It's in a Puma sheath but I don't think it's a Puma.

Knives that appear almost exactly like yours are sold all over the country at "mountain man rendevous" gatherings like at Prairie-du-Schein each year. I have two of them nearly identical to yours. They're mostly made from old circular saw blades.
