I managed to get in a reply after all. One of my relatives made his computer available to me. 1095 Carbon steel is my "steel" of choice for all my knives. I don't make knives, I'm a leatherworker. I make sheaths, belt bags, belts, etc. I have my knives made for me by an "old style" knifemaker/blacksmith, who does excellent work. Talk at you later. Scalphunter.
