Started blacksmithing about 3 years ago when I retired and the master smith who teaches me brought in a master blade smith to teach a two day class. Ground and made a couple of knives and I was hooked. Still a noob but bought a Pheer 427 about a year ago and have continued my journey of knife making mistakes. Try not to make the same ones twice. Still struggling with grinding clean plunges and bevels...may have started this great vocation too late in life. But having fun anyway.
