A customer recently requested a remake of the Loveless Hunter order #MDL in 154cpm with Ivory micarta handles. It obviously has a bit less belly & a little more tip than his standard dropped hunter. I've always thought it to be a great looking knife. Here's my version and also a pic of Mr...
Thanks Chris. When I first started I was advised by a well known Master Smith to practice on small knives. They really helped me hone my basic skills and I still find myself doing them when my shop time is limited.

Daniel, these are from Culpepper. Don't overheat it when grinding & go easy when drilling so that you don't push out a chunk of surface material around the hole. These are pinned but I also have the handle thru-drilled and hollow ground to be "epoxy friendly"...
Here's a little EDC blade just finished. Specs as follows:
- OAL is 8" with 3 1/4" cutting edge
- Steel is 1/8" thick 1084 HT'd to ~60rc
- Handle is amber jigged bone
I've always thought there was something refined about thin handled knives. Thanks for looking.

Here's a straight razor (my first) I just finished with the idea of maybe using it as a desk knife. It's my own twist damascus in 1084 & 15n20. Handle is black paper micarta that I jigged with the rotary tool. I did put a stop in the handle to keep the blade from passing thru the backside.
Hope...
Here's a mid-size hunter/skinner made from Aldo's 1/8" thick 1084 steel. OAL is 6 3/4" & blade is 3 1/8" from tip to bolster.
Handle is black & white ebony and the 440c bolsters are dovetailed.
Thanks for looking.
