    CASERTA .....anyone heard of this knifemaker??

    I picked up a very well-made fixed-blade today, with the name "Caserta" on the tang. I have no knowledge of the maker. Has anyone any info to share? I would be grateful. Thanks. Alex aax1@bellsouth.net

    Please identify this CASE XX ...??WW2 "fighting knife"??

    THANKS!! Based on your inference, I sent pics to a dealer in military knives; he identified it as a WW2 "Utility" knife. Apparently, many firms manufactured such knives, including Kabar, Cattaraugus, Camillus......and Case produced several variants also.
