I've been promising a good friend that I would make a knife for him and I finally finished it up this afternoon. .187" 1084 at 7.5" OAL with 4"handle. Pau Amarillo scales. Hope he appreciates it as he is an artist himself and one of the best motorcycle painters in the world.
Please Eric, keep the suggestions coming. I have thick skin and can take corrective criticism. :biggrin: You're right though. Next time I'm going to make sure I align the top of the scales and sand them down so they're not flat on top.

I worked on this for a few days and finally finished her up. The local FedEx guy dropped up a couple packages and an hour later my new KMG was set up and chewing away at some steel. This one is going to my grandfather. 1084 steel and cocobolo rosewood scales.
