Those are some old brassback Smithsonian models. Those are worth a pretty penny. If he can get them for a good price he should. Collectors pay big bucks for those brassbacks.

I'm new to this forum but I am a Knife junkie. I am a Marine Corps veteran. I now live in Tennessee. My friend used to shoe horses in TX and has a nice coal forge. I have beat out a few rough knives but lack the experience and knowledge to make a refined blade. I am hoping to gain a little here...
