Your Favorite Knife

Hey everyone, Justin Presson's last post got me thinking. I would love to see a picture of your "favorite" knife and the story behind it. I am not talking about something fancy, expensive or rare. I am talking about a knife that has sentimental value...maybe the one that started your passion. Years ago my entire knife collection of approximately 250 knives was stolen. I doubt any of them has any significant monetary value, but they all had a "story"?
I'm sure a bunch of you have a knife with a cool story!

I will get it started. I have two (2) knives that are very special to me.

This one was my father's knife



This one was my grandfather's knife.



You will notice how my grandfather's knife scales have been almost worn smooth. This was jigged bone and he almost wore them out.

Both are special to me.
