WIP Ainu inspired swords and knives

I have been working for some time on Japanese Ainu knives and swords and finally did some hardening in water with clay (yaki ire) exempt for the larger sword i need to get more heat so i will harden that another time.
One knife broke, the others came out good with the water quench, here some examples before and after the hardening and a link to a short clip i made of hardening the short sword;)

Igor,
You are braver than I to do those water quenches with the crack rate they have! I ruin enough blades just grinding them! LOL
I like that Damascus pattern on the blade you cleaned up.

Excellent looking knife.
