VFD help

I have a kbma 24d. I was working on the grinder, flipped the switch to shut it off and it made a popping sound. I turned it back on and now
it will not start the motor. The led lights inside indicate a short circuit, is there a way to reset it or is it trashed? Thanks

Call KB tech support. The number is on the back of the owner's manual. The KBAX 24D is only rated for a 1 hp motor. That is a little underpowered for a Belt Grinder but right for a disk grinder.

If the VFD can't be reset you can send it in for repair or replacement. The VFDs come with an 18 month warranty.
