Vessel for manganese phosphate parkerized solution

Can PVC be used for a container to hold manganese phosphate parkerIzing solution? it certainly would be easier to obtain than stainless steel or porcelon containers. Thanks
 
Oh, ha! When you said PVC my mind went right to storage. No, I use a big stainless pot for cooking it. I can't imagine a plastic container that could handle the heat. Maybe glass or ceramic would work. Hit a few yard sales and you'll find a SS pot pretty easy.
 
thanks guys I found a stainless steel coffee warmer about 12" tall that I can suspend several knives with out touching. Hoping this works.
