KNIFE MAKER
This Hunter/Butcher and boner set is ready to go this week after the edge is put on the boning blade.
And a new filleting blade made from thinner .075 stainless which is the same thickness (or thinness) that I make table knives from so it is quite a bit more flexible than the 1/8 thick blade I did originally.
I tried a couple of new handles on the table knives and also made one shorter blade as some prefer the 4 1/4 inch length over the 5 inch blade.
The red linen micarta(one with black and the other with white liners and the blue G10 with black liners have way too much visible texture in the material they are made from in conjunction with the epoxy so I will now concentrate on the paper micarta which has no visible texture with the black looking like polished buff horn and the white looking like the old english handles. There is also bone and I am going to make other colours myself.
